User Aliases are alternative email addresses that are associated with your real email account.
They provide a way to create an email address for a specific purpose, maybe one for each utillity company you deal with, so that you can track anybody that uses that particular address.
And, if you find the address is being abused, or has been passed onto someone you don’t want to have it you can change the Alias to a Reject Alias and all email to that alias will then be rejected. All without having to cha nge your main email address.
