We are aware that we have a number of users who for legacy reasons are using the CIX Ameol software for their non-CIX email.
Unfortunately Ameol does not, and will not, support secure email connections. At this time all we can suggest it that you consider migrating to a more recent and secure email client. Another possibility is if you run a suitable Anti-Virus solution that offers email scanning. These AV solutions involve configuring your email client to talk to the AV software which then makes a suitable onward connection. These connections can usually be configured to be secure.
Whilst we are researching further options the above AV solution is currently the only ongoing method of using Ameol with Tidymail.
